Tourism: AAVTCV president calls on “djunta mó” in search of better solutions for the sector

Praia, Feb 11 (Inforpress) – AAVTCV president Mário Sanches called on stakeholders and actors in the tourism sector to seek a better solution and put the Cabo Verdean agencies on the route of the big chains tourist attractions.

The challenge was launched by the president of the Travel and Tourism Agencies Association of Cabo Verde (AAVTCV) at the opening ceremony of the “National Meeting of Cabo Verde’s Travel and Tourism Agencies”, held in the City of Praia.

Considering that this is one of the fastest growing sectors in the world, Mário Sanches said that one of the challenges of the association is to put the small and medium-sized Cabo Verdean agencies in a position to enter this cake sharing, together with the large agencies and tourist and hotel chains for a tourism with benefits for all and in all the islands.

“Hence our appeal to a true “mutual help” to all actors directly and indirectly linked to the sector, for a joint effort in search of better solutions and a concerted vision to meet the challenges of the present and the future”, he said.
