Postal workers require “urgent replacement” of the company’s executive diretor

Praia, Jan 10 (Inforpress) – Workers at the Cabo Verde Post Office (CCV) require, in a signed petition addressed to the Prime Minister, the Ombudsman and parties with a parliamentary seat, the “urgent replacement” of the executive company’s director.

In the document, which Inforpress had access to, the workers justify the decision with Cipriano Carvalho’s “lack of posture” at the company’s leadership, “promoting an unsustainable working environment”.

The “poor interpersonal relationship with the workers”, the “irregular management of company resources” and “signs of nepotism and favoring in the recruitment of staff “are other reasons pointed out in the undersigned, which has so far 32 signatures.

Workers also speak of “incoherence in the attribution of benefits” since, as they say, “while is restricting employees’ rights, the administrator uses discretionary power for his own benefit, violating the status of the public manager”.
