IGAE makes positive balance of the first semester 2018 and says that scientific inspection has had an effect

Praia, Sep 6 (Inforpress) – The  Inspector General for Economic Activities, Elisângelo Monteiro said today that the inspection activities in the first half of 2018 were “positive”, with emphasis on reducing the non-compliance rate of the economic operators infractions.

In statements to Inforpress, Elisângelo Monteiro revealed that the assessment made during the first half of the year, taking into account the performance of the General Inspectorate for Economic Activities (IGAE) regarding the inspection and seizure of illegal products and trade, is very dynamic because is a scientific inspection based on data processing.

“The assessment we make is very dynamic given our business plan, with more scientific basis, ie due to data processing. The institution really begins to outline the much more rational exercise of the inspection activity, which is much more problem-focused, with greater impact on society, economic activity and people’s health”, he stressed.

Thereby, he points out that the entity is in an increasing process, due to the intensity and programming of the activities, pointing out that more than 1500 inspections have already been carried out in the first six months of the year.
