Praia, Jun 18 (Inforpress) – Cabo Verdean international Ianique Stopira has assured to Inforpress that he will continue on Videoton of Hungary, despite proposals from other football clubs.
“I had some proposals but they did not convince me and so I’m going to stay in the club where I feel very happy”, the player told to Inforpress via e-mail.
About the balance of the football season, Stopira called it “excellent”, since, besides being a champion, he joined the list of the eleven ideal of the Hungarian championship.
“The balance of the season is excellent because we achieved the main goal of the season. I made 31 games in 33 days for the championship”, said the player.
On the return of Rui Aguas to the national football team of Cabo Verde, the athlete said he was a “good choice”, considering he knows most of the players, which Stopira considers to be “very important” to be successful. Therefore, he said that he will be “always available” to represent the national football team of Cabo Verde” wherever he is, whether in Hungary or in another country”.
