Athletics: Jordin Andrade is already in Peru, stage of the Ibero-American Championship

Praia, Aug 23 (Inforpress) – The international Cabo Verdean Olympic athlete Jordin Andrade is already in the city of Trujillo (Peru), where this Saturday will debut in the competition of 400 meters hurdles in the Ibero-American Championship of Athletics, which runs from 24 to 26 of this month.

According to the Cabo Verdean Athletics Federation program, the athlete, who lives in the United States of America, arrived on Wednesday afternoon to Peru, and participates in the technical meeting today, for Saturday to compete the entrance in the final of Sunday in the 400 meters hurdles.

The 2018 Ibero-American Athletics Championship will be played at the “Chan Chan” Trujillo Athletics Stadium, a city with 800.000 inhabitants.

Jordin Andrade won the gold medal in the 400-meters hurdles at the 8th Francophonie Games held in 2017 in Abijan, Ivory Coast.
