Mindelo, Sep 7 (Inforpress) – In the first half of 2017, Enapor – Ports of Cabo Verde registered a “sustained growth” in the movement of goods at national ports of 11.1%, an increase of 111,763 tons of cargoes in relation to the period 2016.
In the first half of 2016, 1.004.895 tons of goods were transported in the archipelago’s ports, against 1.116.658 tons in 2017, i.e more than 111.763 tons and a growth rate of 11.1%.
The growth also occurred in the movement of passengers / cabotage, from 364.139 in 2016 to 396.615 in 2017, i.e more than 5.476 passengers transported and a positive variation of 1.5%.
On the other hand, although in smaller numbers, ship movement also increased by two more units, from 3.261 in 2016 to 3.263 in 2017, and a positive percentage change of 0.1%.
