Sao Filipe, April 6 (Inforpress) – In August 2016, the Solidarity and Economic Development Association (ASDE) submitted to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment (MAA) a “very modern” proposal for water management for agriculture but did not obtain any “feedback” from the Ministry.
This information was advanced by Father Octavio Fassano, when he was approached about the possibility of collective dismissal of 15 the vineyard Maria Chaves workers, adding that he has waited for eight months for an answer.
He said that there are many international technicians who collaborate with the project and who intends to help solve the water and energy problem, adding that the Government should take “a serious and continuous responsibility in this matter”.
The proposal presented to the Minister of Agriculture, he explains, is “very modern” and with the possibility of managing the four boreholes of prospecting groundwater for agriculture in a controlled and automatic way, through resources such as telephone and internet, allowing know the situation of the boreholes and avoid the salt water supply as usual.
