Porto Novo, Oct 26 (Inforpress) – The Paul municipality, in Santo Antão, will receive in the coming years by the Government an amount of 80 million escudos under multiannual contracts signed with the executive in the context of environmental funds and tourism sustainability.
With this amount, the City Hall of Paul will be able to develop, between 2017 and 2020, a series of projects in the urban requalification and tourism areas in this municipality, according to António Aleixo.
In Paul, the great demand of the residentd is to protect the city of Pombas and the requalification of the seafront.
The local government said it was guaranteed by the Government that the project to protect the city of Pombas and requalification of the city seafront, which will be around 120 million escudos, will be implemented in 2018 by the Ministry of Infrastructure, Land Planning and Housing.
