Prime Minister defends creation of new levels of partnership with friendly countries

Praia, July 4 (Inforpress) – The Prime minister has defended today that it is time to think about new levels of partnership between Cabo Verde and the friendly countries that are always next to the archipelago in these 42 years of independence.

The challenge was launched by Ulisses Correia e Silva in statements to the press at the end of the Government meeting with the diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in Cabo Verde, which took place in the premises of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Communities, Praia city.

“First of all, I want to thank all the efforts made during this 42-year period with Cabo Verde, with its growth and development, and reaffirm the need to develop new phases and new levels of partnership,” he said.

The Prime Minister stressed the need to “accelerate the process of growth and development of the country” and ensured that the support of Cabo Verde’s partners is still necessary, whether in terms of support for reforms or support to “reinforce” the

infrastructures.
