Praia, Aug 20 (Inforpress) – Parents with children in elementary school will be able to accompany them through the Integrated School Management System (SIGE) next school year, told the Ministry of Education to Inforpress in Praia.
According to Adriano Moreno, this system created by the Operational Unit of the Information Society (NOSi), which already works in the secondary, will be extended to basic schools so that parents can monitor the performance of their children throughout the school year.
“It will allow us to have direct contact with parents and caregivers, for example if the student misses a class when the absence is marked, automatically the parent receives a notification on his/her mobile phone. Students’ grades can also be viewed through this system”, explained the delegate.
In his view, this system will allow a greater approximation of parents who, in this way, will be aware of the school performance, difficulties or overcomes of learners.
