Praia, Oct 6 (Inforpress) – The number of malaria cases has registered a significant reduction in the Praia City with one to two cases per day, said the Minister of Health and Social Security, Arlindo do Rosário.
“Things are progressing well in terms of the measures we advocate to make this fight. Now we need to accelerate a bit more. It is a visit accompanied by the Minister of Agriculture and Environment, the mayor and other entities because it is a shared struggle, being sure that the leadership of this fight is the Ministry of Health.
The official spoke to the press after a visit to some neighborhoods of the capital to verify, “in field”, the progress of the interventions made and the evolution in relation to the last visit made about 15 days ago.
“The situation is that in recent weeks we have seen a significant decrease in the number of cases. We had 13 to 14 cases a day, at this time one or two cases a day, said the Minister.
