São Filipe, Mar 20 (Inforpress) – The rehabilitation project of the Salinas beach resort, called “Ecotourism in the natural pool of Salinas,” will be completed in seven months and is expected to be completed in November.
Funded by the European Union (EU), the project, which has experienced several setbacks for about two years, is ready to start work, according to its promoters.
The works include physical upgrading of access to the site, installation of safety and leisure equipment, trawler for fishermen who use the port, construction of boat shelters and a terrace, to confer, in the future, to this place the seal of tourist attraction.
The president of the Fishermen Association of the North Zone, Clarindo Teixeira, said Monday in the launching of the first stone, that, despite the disrepute in relation to the project, motivated by the delays, fishermen see in the infrastructure a way to help quality and productive fishing.
