Boeing-757 aircraft from TACV International are piloted by nationals after certification

Praia, Nov 13 (Inforpress) – Minister of Economy and Employment, José Gonçalves, assured that after the certification of the Boeing 757 aircrafts Icelandair by the Cabo Verdean Civil Aeronautics Agency, these aircrafts will be piloted by national personnel.

The ruler made these statements to the press in the act of the first anniversary of the beginning of Binter-Cabo Verde’s operations in the archipelago.

Asked about the participation of the Cabo Verdean State in Binter’s capital, José Gonçalves said that this discussion is underway and the acquisition of 49 percent of the airline’s capital should be completed by June 2018.

The minister, however, declined to advance the total cost of the operation, stating only that 30% is a compensation given by the company to the State and the remaining 19% will be bought for an amount not yet determined.
