Praia, Aug 21 (Inforpress) – Cabo Verdean international athlete Jordin Andrade will represent the country in the 400-meters hurdles event at the Ibero-American Athletics Championships, which will be held from 24 to 26 this month in Trujillo City, Peru.
The Creole athlete, who lives in the United States, is expected Wednesday in this South American city and, according to the schedule, will debut on Saturday in search of a ‘passport’ for the Sunday final.
The 2018 Ibero-American Athletics Championships will be played at the “Chan Chan” Trujillo Athletics Stadium, a city with 800.000 inhabitants.
Olympic athlete Jordin Andrade won the gold medal in the 400-meters hurdles at the 8th Francophonie Games held in 2017 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
