Praia, Aug 17 (Inforpress) – The National Water and Sanitation Agency (ANAS) will require service operators to regularly make available information on the water quality produced in the country.
The information was advanced Thursday at a press conference in Praia, by ANAS administrator António Pina, who announced on the occasion that the agency will provide annually information on the state of quality water for supply.
To this end, he argued all stakeholders should maintain a “continuous and open dialogue”, sharing information about the continued provision of public supply services and a framework that establishes good practices in the definition of public policies in the sector.
Among those involved, António Pina indicated the Government and public administration, the regulator (ANAS), the managing entities and the users, who have specific missions in the control of water quality.
